After being off the road for 3½ years, Bruce finally had a large collection of new songs, assembled a new band, had a new outlook on life. He had finally sorted out his personal life and had two children with his new bride and band-mate, Patti. Bruce emerged a happier, more serene man, who was ready to break free from "the chains" that bound him to everything in the past. This was the tour that Bruce needed to "Prove it" to himself as well as to his fans. Some are divided on weather he succeeded, but one thing is clear - This was the tour Bruce reinvented himself.
